06 Aug Wheelchair Basketball Arrives on Kayo Freebies
Wheelchair Basketball Australia is pleased to announce an exclusive agreement with Kayo Freebies to stream the 2024 WBA Finals.
The National Wheelchair Basketball League and Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League Finals are on the 10th and 11th August at Shellharbour City Stadium in NSW.
The Preliminary Finals on Saturday night for both men and women, as well as the Gold Medal and Third Place Play-off games on Sunday will be streamed exclusively on Australia’s biggest sports streaming service, Kayo via Kayo Freebies.
Making the WBA Finals available on Kayo Freebies opens up our great sport to a whole new audience while ensuring the leagues’ streaming coverage of the 2024 NWBL and WNWBL seasons continues to be free for fans with no cost to access Kayo Freebies.
Kayo Freebies is free to join, and no credit card is required to sign up. Customers can just sign up and start watching. Existing Kayo subscribers already have access to Kayo Freebies.
Saturday morning’s semi finals will be streamed on the Wheelchair Basketball Australia Youtube channel.
The WBA Finals Weekend will be the culmination of a high quality and hard-fought season with four teams in both the NWBL and WNWBL vying for ultimate supremacy.
The NWBL will feature 11 of the 12 Rollers headed for the 2024 Paralympics with the Darwin Salties and Perth Wheelcats boasting four players, Wollongong Roller Hawks with two and Manly Wheel Eagles one.
In the WNWBL, the Perth Wheelcats will go into the weekend as favourites but the two Sydney teams will fancy their chances of causing an upset while the Queensland Comets will be out to keep building on the progress they’ve made this season.
