12 Aug 2025 WBA Finals Referee Panel
Wheelchair Basketball Australia (WBA) is pleased to announce the referee panel for the upcoming Finals Series for the WNWBL and NWBL, including the 3X3 competition to be held at the Northern Beaches Indoor Sports Centre over the weekend of 29-31 August.
Officials from around Australia make up the 12 person squad that will officiate over the course of the weekend.
WBA’s Referee Manager, Matt Wells, highlighted the dedication of all officials from around Australia who have officiated during the course of the leagues this year.
“As always there are challenges covering all games during the season as officials must also juggle their other officiating commitments. Season 2025 has seen the introduction of a number of new officials to the leagues’ ranks.,” Wells said.
“While there are many officials who could be part of the final series, the selection were limited to just 6 interstate officials due to budget considerations and contains a mixture of experience and development”.
